Madonna and Child by May Villeneuve
by Susan Lafleur for May Villeneuve
Title
Madonna and Child by May Villeneuve
Artist
Susan Lafleur for May Villeneuve
Medium
Painting - Oil On Canvas
Description
This painting was done by my sister-in-law May, who was killed by a drunk driver about 35 years ago while on a family bicycle ride. One of her grandsons, the son of her youngest child, was recently hit while riding his skateboard and is now paralyzed.
The family is having a difficult time emotionally, of course, but that's compounded by the financial hit due to medical bills and having to retrofit their house to accomodate the need for a wheelchair.
So, because it would be May's wish to help her grandson, I've decided to donate any commissions from sales of prints of May's paintings to help my nephew's family.
