Description
This nostalgic image is a digital manipulation of a recent photo, taken of a beach on the West River in Vermont, where locals go to cool off in the dog days of summer. Even though it is in land-locked Vermont, there are places along some rivers where old-fashioned family beach fun can still be had.

How cool Susan, it reminds me of what we called our swimming hole down home. When I was a teenager I went for a walk with my youngest brother and sister to our swimming hole and a bunch of guys from high school that I attended were there swimming, skinning dipping. I turned red as a beet grabbed my little sister and brothers hand and high tailed it out of there fast. LOL :) Wrong day and definitely the wrong time to visit that spot. I love this scene.
