About Susan Lafleur
So... "about"...
I graduated from Boston University with a BFA many years ago. I've never considered myself a photographer, but after taking thousands of photos, there are bound to be some gems in the bunch. I love to travel to picturesque places, so most of my photos reflect that.
I haven't been displaying my art very long, though I've been making art since I was about 7, when I started painting in an independent art class. I actually got a bad grade on a coloring page in 3rd grade for "shading" the cherries (Washington's Birthday) instead of coloring them shiny solid red. Guess I was showing a rebellious streak at an early age!
I'm a mom of 4 adults, grandmother of 3 humans and 4 fur babies.
I've been working on computers for closing in on 30 years, now; Computer-Aided Drafting (insert finger in throat and make gagging sound) but seriously, the job has been lucrative enough to enable me to travel pretty often to great places, which is where most of my current crop of photos come from.
I hope to continue to take photos on future travels, and start taking more closer to home, now that I have this outlet for displaying them. (happy-dance)
