Barnfoss, translated from Icelandic, means "baby waterfall". This painting is a very small part of a brook that feeds into a much larger waterfall in Iceland. The turquoise color is the result of the sediment in the glacial runoff that creates this little body of water. Oil on Canvas, 16"x20"
