Description
A pair of Arctic Tern babies squawking to be fed. Photograph taken on Vigur (Bird Island), northern Iceland. While it appears that they may have fallen from a nest, I can assure you that pretty much IS the nest. Apparently Arctic Terns, while very protective of their eggs and babies, are somewhat lackadaisical when it comes to building anything.
