This lovely still life was in an historic old house in the Shetland Islands, Scotland in the North Sea. There is a Damask tablecloth, a mirror with shaving brushes perched on a ledge, along with a clay jug. The highlight of the still life is a large, well-loved book, probably the family Bible.
