Description
Meet Elsie, my grandmother. I painted this from a photograph taken about 1918 or so, when my grandmother was quite young. The first thing she wanted to do with her first paycheck from her job as a housemaid was to have her photo taken professionally. You can see her at about age 50 in my painting "Elsie at First Light"
