Taking this photo from a bridge over the West River in Vermont, and being able to see the rocky water's edge all the way to the bottom of the river, it struck me how clear the water is here, while some parts of the same river appear to be quite muddy. It's no wonder that this area is a popular spot for playing and swimming in the water. There are little sandy beaches nestled between the rocky areas.
