Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I went to the 31st floor of the hotel I was staying in on 41st St. and took a shot looking as straight down as I could reach over the parapet. Not wanting the shot to be boring and normal, I played with the image until I got this result.
